Question about Rick Story losing the fight to brenneman..?

It came down to Brenneman had nothing to loose and story had everything to loose and nothing to gain. He did the typical GSP lay on you and do no damage but still won the fight. Story the last round put the jets on and did what he should have done the whole time and just dominated. Unfortunately it came too late. If it was a 5 round fight Story would have pulled away with the win. I dont agree though with putting brenneman in at the last second ESPECIALLY since they were hoping to give him a title shot. They should have just scrapped the bout and put Olivera in the main event.
