I'm trying to remember the title of a movie. It's a comedy about 2 "cool" young men who die and meet "death".?

They gamble with death and win so they go back to life. There's also a very intelligent creature who was the product of the smartest technology on earth. I also remember that they meet god and congratulate him on a very good job (universe/earth..).. any ideas..? I think it was in the mid 1990s.
