What could cause a MASS to show on Xray of Spine?

I went to a Back Specialist yesterday been scared to death ever since. He told me I Need to get a Chest Xray of my Lungs and Heart taken immediately that on his Xray he is not sure what it is But there is a Mass the size of a Softball Where my Neck Joins My body He does not Know if it is the Lungs or Heart. But it is a Cloudy Mass. I called my Clinic and I find out the person I been seeing there can NOT Do this type of procedure because He is a P. A.C. Not a doctor. So I will have to go to someone else and pay out more money for another test. I have been having shortness of breath, My Arms and Hands swell and stay numb like they are asleep all the time. My hand have been so swollen I have had to take my wedding ring off. My feet stay swollen. And they are Cold all the time. I can not walk more then about 50 feet before I am in such pain I want to scream. I thought it was my Bone Spurs on my spine but am not sure by what the back doctor told me he only sees a few bone spurs. I feel I am getting the run around all the way around The QUACKS found out the Insurance will pay so it is run this test send me here send me there.
