I cant view objects nearby clearly...?

I have a strange feeling that the objects which I view like say within 50 cms...It is somewhat blurry but I can easily manage to focus on distant objects...I attended an eye specialist and my mom is pretty afraid about it...He has asked me to visit him after 4 days but my mom talked to him and he said that there is no problem...I use my pc like average 8 hours a day...And my right eye seems to be disfigured and its position seems to be turned towards the right and raised somewhat making me look like a i am watching both straight as well as somewhat turned to left and like both eye can manage to view more than 200 degrees while an average eye can view 180 degrees only...What is actually my proble,? Oh and my doctor said that I got plus eye defect something like that...what does it mean?
